It is hard to believe that another year has flown by and we are
already well into the Holiday Season! Here at the Courtyard
Gallery the elves have been busy and, as the song says, “all is
merry and bright!”

This year we mark the 14th anniversary of
the Courtyard with our annual ART FOR YOUR HEART AND HOME
exhibit, featuring beautiful original work from nearly 50
artists from near and far, A to Z, or Acosta to Zhang, to be
more precise!

We are proud to have been described as having “the most diverse
selection of original contemporary fine art in the region” and
this festive season’s offering certainly lives up to the
reputation. We hope you’ll think of us when you are doing your
holiday shopping and give the gift of art. Paintings and
sculpture large and small, wonderful whimsical mermaids (some
with baby seals), sea creatures and dragons by Jillian Barber,
playful dogs and even some cats by Lori Rembetski, pit fired
penguins, seals, cat and mouse by Serena Bates, harbor seals and
other creatures by Susan Van Winkle, unique ceramic pieces by
Joanna Case, Les Olin, Susan Shaw and Anne Scavone all make
special gifts for everyone on your list.

At this time of year we are especially grateful to all of the
wonderful artists who keep astounding us with new and different
pieces, and of course to all of our friends and collectors, old
and new, without whom we certainly would not have been here all
these years!

As always, during the holiday season, we will have a number of
special events so save these dates!

On Tuesday, December 5 the whole town
celebrates with the festive Mystic Holiday Stroll from 5-9PM
The streets will be lined with luminaria, musicians and carolers
will be on hand to entertain outside, or inside if it is
raining! It’s the perfect time to start your shopping and just
enjoy all the our little town has to offer!

Sunday December 10 is the Courtyard’s
Annual Carol Sing, with our own Sarah Stifler Lucas at the baby
grand and Master of Ceremonies Del-Bourree Bach.
Special Sunday Salon is from 3-6 PM and we’ll sing around 4:00,
with lots of libations and goodies before and after!

The Sunday before Christmas, Dec 17th from 3-6, at our Salon,
we’ll celebrate the Winter Solstice with delectable treats and
surprises for all!

NEW! party will be on Saturday, December 30, from 5-8PM

Cavanaugh will be in the kitchen working her magic, lots of the
artists will be on hand, a great way to round out the season!

Of course we’ll be happy to see you at any time – our winter
